This ultra-modern arena is home to Wolfsburg’s Bundesliga football team. It was completed in 2002 at a cost of 53 Million Euro. It is a two floored stadium, rectangular in shape with rounded corners. The pitch is surrounded by stands that are fully roof-covered and separated from the pitch by retractable barriers. The pitch can be covered and therefore allows the set-up of different areas of activity, which makes the arena a multifunctional space. At the same time, the spectator area can be extended by adding additional stands. The Business Club can be used for conventions independently of the arena. Arena capacity is 30,000.
