OPACI-COAT-300® is a one-component (1K), water-based silicone elastomer glass coating that ICD can color match to your hearts content by utilizing popular fan deck systems with the added benefit of batch-to-batch quality and strict color tolerance consistency. This glass coating is post-applied at glass fabrication facilities globally, meaning the glass is either annealed or has already been heat treated – tempered or heat strengthened. The benefit of a water-based silicone elastomer post-applied glass coating is that it doesn’t weaken the glass substrate. OPACI-COAT-300® contains heavy-metal-free automotive grade pigments and when cured forms a rubber-like coating that provides fallout resistance when applied onto 6mm tempered glass at 13 mil wet film thickness (WFT).
