Course Description:

This course provides Specifiers, Architects, Consultants, and Designers education about specifying opacifying silicone water-based coating technologies based on project-driven requirements. Learn how glass coating selection can affect project outcomes based on the detailing of performance, prescriptive, and/or proprietary specifications. Attendees will learn about key technical, aesthetic, and performance considerations for spandrel and backpainted glass, including applicable standards. Product defense methods will also be addressed to improve communication between design and construction teams.
